Your sins cannot be shared.

There was a time when the people would say: “The parents ate the sour grapes, but the children got the sour taste”. It was even considered a proverb. Theoretically, many people want to believe that you will turn out bad because of your genes, environment, or relationships.  Too a part, scientific study has shown that in the masses there is a definite relation between crime, domestic violence, and sexual immorality.  However, scientists have never proven that if your father had been a very evil person, it does not mean you will become a very evil person.

Since I do not believe I need to- read the Scripture, “to you”.  I will hope you have read the entirety of the Scripture before you read this sermon.  I have read the entirety, and it is very self-explanatory.  It is also an amazing fact that these words are spoken before Jesus Christ came into the world.  I remember a friend of mine who told me his father had abused him.  He told me his father had cursed and beat him.  Furthermore, his father swore he would be “just as cursed and damned” himself.  At the time, I did not have the training and knowledge of Christ that I am privileged to today.

Moreover, there are people who abuse others.  These people use mind manipulation to control their families, lovers, and children. Even peoples, races, and countries, and you can rest assure that God will make their punishment worthy of the despicable inhumane abuse they inflicted on another human being.  It’s so sad that people who have no conscience.  Act as if they have no mind.  They think because they have no conscience God will not judge them?  How wrong they are.

People who practice cruelty, meanness, selfishness, and hatred of any of God’s creations “knows” God does not put up with that anymore.  Rationalizing the message of Jesus Christ to fit your own agenda will not work when you stand before God on judgment day.  And as easily as God reads my mind right now; he is reading yours.  I think about the life you live, think about the things you have done, you need to apologize, do what you must to set things right, yet keep yourself and thoughts on doing better.  Finally, by remaining honest, sincere, and humble, God will show you the same mercy you have shown others.
