You Challenge me? I work hard everyday. I do what I can to earn my money and pay my bills. I do not sit around waiting for handouts, but if I ask for government assistance, than I am treated like a freeloader! You who are healthy and well to do. You think you will always have money and be financially fit because you do the right thing? It is those who are poor and uneducated that are the cause of societies woes... You seem to forget people are in floods and lose everything, people are in fires and lose everything, and people are used by the government to fight wars and lose their very life! And you are so happy they died for your freedom!! If you are so patriotic, why do you not question policies that harm others? I guess because the laws do not affect your status quo, you do not feel a need to help the less privileged. After all, we are only lazy unpatriotic peoples. It is too bad we got hurt on the job. You think you will never be hurt on the job… One day you will see why big business has lost its soul. The day your insurance company refuses a treatment you need` because they have rules about what justifies medical need. As for those of us who are poor, we have no insurance. Therefore, we do not go to the doctor when we are ill. And for some reason there is no welfare for Americans who are not connected to some special interest group. Those who are doing OK in America: turn a blind eye to all the injustice. They depend on their stock market and 401k to be there. They see retirement as their goal in life… I do not have the luxury to think about retirement. I was denied treatment in a timely manner, and my condition has become permanent. Healthy people have no clue about what real disabling conditions are. They try to sympathize, but they feel fine 24/7 while those of us who are in need- struggle to meet the daily needs of food and shelter. Suicide is our only revenge! We get tired of being told there is no help, there is no relief, so learn to deal with it!! There comes a time when the person can no longer deal with it. It must make those fortunate in life “feel superior” to those who are not. It is Gods plan. All is good. Those who have problems deserve them from the choices they made. Regardless of serving your country in war, regardless of being hurt on the job, and regardless that votes could make life a little better for the down trodden. Healthy people see no need for services to help those who are sick and needy. We do not care about democrats or republicans, what we need is a governmental insurance coverage for medical needs. We need governmental jobs and assistance. Yet the rich close all these programs as “a waste of money”. I guess you are telling me I am a waste of resources because I too` am no longer healthy?
