Will
not time make us invincible? If
God has given us all power, are not we in charge of our destiny?
With immortality only grasped until the next life, how do we find our
true potential? Does not the human
mind desire to be something great? Is
it not the most wondrous of all creations~ what we think, what we feel, and what
we visualize can become a reality. And
had we immortality in this life, would we not learn to live in peace and
harmony? I cannot imagine if
everyone knew that we were never to die ever again we would choose to live in
pain. For the decision to enter
into heaven is something every living being contemplates~ devices plans to
break-in, humbly waits with patient behavior, or ferociously demands entrance. Who
are we to become after we die? How often I have wondered, if people truly try to understand
that this life we live- is temporary? A
life lived like this would have no meaning if there was no afterlife.
Yet there is a source of knowledge that allows us to think and “that”
is a part of Gods flesh. If you
drank from the tree of immortality, what do you think would make you happy
forever? Could you truly imagine living and never being allowed to die again?
The only alternative to continuous life would be the complete eradication
of the souls existence. The only power that could accomplish such a feat would
be God. And
since God must live forever, He must not be able to self-destruct.
He is so focused, He is so entertaining, and He has learned to separate
what is eternal from what is not. His
entirety embraces immortality, and He has torn away everything that is mortal.
He has given power to inanimate objects and has created thoughts beyond any
mathematical scale that could possibly be erected that might even think of
coming close to the equation of the human mind.
For this mind is given to beliefs, education, and superstition.
We embrace the world filled with a history of mythology and tribal rites. The
many years ago when people would go through a process to be accepted in their
community. Our ancestors from
prehistory had lived a simple life, yet they still found joy.
How is it that 3000 years ago, people enjoy existing?
Have we forgotten the simplest pleasures of community and companionship?
Friendships are what make our life the most wondrous thing. Without that
certain someone special, life would take on a very dull and dreary appearance.
If I must spend my life seeking for the keys to eternity, I hope I find
the answer within my friends. For
these people are closer to me than any family member as we share our souls to
achieve a common purpose. Our unity
and thoughts usher in God’s Little children. Thomas A. SUTOR P.O. Box 2343 Lompoc CA 93438 Rockhawk.com
