Why do People Add and Subtract the Bible?
It is only by God’s great mercy and kindness that I shall be forgiven and allowed to enter into heaven. There is nothing I can do personally, but be grateful for the gift of salvation. The Scripture I Give You Is from Revelation. As a matter of fact, I am sure you have read that it and its title “conclusion”. After reading this little bit of Scripture, I am going to step on some toes. The Mormons have “another” Bible that they say they have Golden templates. When does the world get to see, these authentic God-given templates?
The Jehovah witness program does not allow its parishioners to interpret the Bible for themselves. The Watchtower is the only official interpretation of the Bible for this entire group of believers. How does one become one of the most high in the Jehovah witness religion? Your guess is as good as mine. You would think, all religions said to be basing their teachings on the Bible, would never take away or add anything to it. Because I read the Bible, I understand that “we all have the right” to read it. Moreover, after reading what Jesus teaches, we should only be talking about love.
I think most people know what love is. At least I would hope most people who endeavor to believe in love, participate in love, and practice love, know that there is no such thing as hate involved. In the churches that teach practicing the Ten Commandments “will” get you into heaven, “THAT” is a lie. The Ten Commandments have been a failure since their creation. The reason God created Jesus Christ was to amend the Ten Commandments with a much more lasting promise. Strictly taken, the Ten Commandments say Thow shall not lie. Honestly, any of you reading this, have you ever told a white lie. In the eyes of the Ten Commandments there is no difference between a white lie, a black lie, and a malicious lie. And the judgment of all under the Ten Commandments is death.
Are you sure you want to preach the Ten Commandments as a way to salvation? I do not see any clauses in the Ten Commandments, I do not see any loopholes in the Ten Commandments, and I do not see forgiveness and redemption in the Ten Commandments. I will trust in Jesus Christ. He was the ultimate sacrifice ordained by God- The God of the Jews, and the God of those of us who believe. I will trust my morality to the hands and guidance of love. Surely, love is the most accurate form of worship in this world. I do not believe I have added anything to the Bible, nor have I taken anything away from it. All I want is 100% “The Word”. Revelation was written; as the rest of the Bible was written, too be interpreted by “all” men and women. We do not need special profits, preachers, or teachers if we’re willing to pray God for wisdom.
