Why are there flowers?

In a world built on only human deduction, we sometimes rationalize the legitimacy of a creator! One to watch over us in this life. Not a god, but a Creator… There are times we feel pulled away from those we love, we long for an intimate touch, we wish to hear intimate words. Not to judge, but to know we are not alone. In each and every story that one brings to this life, there has to be a point when we give solutions to age old questions.  Our existence is not just to live for God and die, nor is it to rot in a box… Death seems to be everyone’s downfall, yet can we blame them?

Once you have lived a while on this planet, you find it nice to know there are such things as gardens. A place to grow herbs and heal the sick, a place to grow food and feed over 5000, and in the process of our earth, there is a reasonable answer as to why we live. It is to enjoy the flower. No wonder so many people are not happy, they have forgotten flower power! Plants do grow in wide variety and for most, they have a bloom. Some plants are called weeds because of their contrary effect on us, but some plants do other purpose “besides” take care of the human condition. Animals depend on the seasons and fruits that are meant feed to them. They can not plant or grow crops, but we can.

It is with great understanding that romance brings peace of mind. Love fulfilled is not love lost. This knowledge that their can be only one love is gravely mistaken. Do not limit yourself in love; you have to remember when mother held you close. If you can, you can realize that during childhood we found flowers grown in our back yard. We took the time to look at them. We studied the color throughout the day. How the color would change in morning, and again in midday, and again at evening. It seemed the sun had a mind of its own, and it was calling out to these plants in the ground! And do they not reach out to their God? Flowers bloom only because sun shines warmer in springtime.

It would be wise for all of us to stop thinking we “know” there is an afterlife. Many words in books, yet books are written by men. It seems mankind would do well to remember that all we have is today. Terrorist strike and kill many, accidents happen, and mother nature is sometimes soulless… It seems that we are heavy laden. It would be conceivable to give up hope in such desperate times as these. The weight of independence sometimes is very lonely. However, I have walked through life’s tragedies and returned to a happy understanding. I am grateful for the help of my friends. They are new, and it is good. Flowers bloom again.
