What People’s Peace? Deuteronomy 23 1-8
It would be an interesting thing that if the Israelis consider the Palestinians = Ammonites, or Moabites. And if you consider verse six, it has serious ramifications about what God expects the Israelis to do to these people for as long as they are alive. I shall read it to you : as long as you are a nation, never do anything to help these nations or to make them prosperous. And it seems that is the very thing that continually happens with Palestine. Pick up your Bible and read this little portion. There’s nothing in the traditional Hebrew legacy that shows they are not doing anything but what the Bible tells them to.Interestingly enough though, it tells the Israelis that from the third generation onward of the Edomites and the Egyptians. Their descendants may be included among the Lords people. Considering the Scripture can pertain to equaling Arabians = Edomites, there is a good possibility that both these countries can have good relations with the nation of Israel. However, this law written in the Bible by God is of a considerable ancient time. The time of animal sacrifices, wars, and people fighting for positions of power. The Old Testament does record the attitude and behavior of this race of people. If we only hold onto the Old Testament, there will never be peace in the Middle East. It is for this reason that Christians understand how to live in peace. any Christian whose fighting or killing a Christian in the name of God. You are not a follower of Jesus. Jesus never violently attacked anybody. There’s no record of him hitting, punishing, or hating. He turned over tables. And that is what needs to happen today between Israel and Palestine. We as a world body need to remind Israel that it exists only because we allow it. We believe the fighting will stop once they have divided the country evenly and fairly with the Palestinians. Once they educate, to share the land, and share the water, the social mercy of the world might help in prayer. Times are becoming quite difficult as the stock markets begin to descend. Once the world goes into another grand recession and depression, I think people will not be willing to put up with things that cause terrorism in other parts of the world. It’s good to believe in Christianity, it shows a better way than continually suppressing the people, or secretly planning their genocide. Americans must understand that the blood of innocent Palestinians and innocent Israelis is caused by our one-sided involvement. We are a superpower and this crisis in the Middle East is a very good distraction of how unethical political and business practices have got out of hand. We must focus on our own and protect the stability and morality of America. Thomas A. SUTOR P.O. Box 2343 Lompoc CA 93438 Rockhawk.com |
