Twilight’
Twilight’ Two fall tonight. The power of a nation can only be defined by what people who belong to her’ do. We must realize that since this terrible tragedy our society has begun to make changes. Some changes we welcome readily, as we have lived here all our lives. But others we must continue to question, as our democracy demands. We should never fear to seek the truth of matters concerning state and federal. For each one of us is responsible as a U.S. citizen to make sure our laws and our justice are for all people in America. The world has changed in the direction far scarier than any have known~ in our history. We have the abilities of mass destruction, we can lose my property on a grand scale, and we can obliterate communities far greater than have ever existed before with the flash of terror. And who do we fear? Do we have a reason to fear, in this land? What would bring so much mass destruction to our society? These are questions that do have answers- and must be found out’ in a timely fashion. For all our tax dollars, we sometimes forget what were paying for. It is the ability to live our lives in a country with “freedoms beyond measure.” Sometimes as a person, I cannot change the world, in the way, it thinks about America, but I can change me. If I get together with other people who believe as I believe, then we form a group. If enough people join the group, you begin to get a community that can see the future within the rights of democracy. This is what makes us great; this is why we must continue to question the occasion of September 11th 2001. It is not a date to be forgotten. This date must be preserved, to seek the truth of what America does, with her power. America must not be brutal to the others on this planet; she was made to be something far greater than that. Lady Liberty gives her life for us, and we cry the tears of lost soldiers, men who died for freedoms that they’ll never have. How could I insult their memory? By not continuing to be an activist~ and understanding our Constitution, and our country’s ability to be graceful, dignified, and filled with truth. I should do my part as a child of this land to bring glory and honor to all men, who have died in the wars, providing freedom to you and I. May we look at our culture and see how it influences the world- for those men who died, will surely judge us, if we do not live up to what they died for. Thomas A. SUTOR P.O.
