To Lose My Possessions
At what cost to me, would it be to lose all I own, and even my home? How could anyone do such cruelty to me, as to destroy all my possessions! For I have worked hard to acquire all that I own! It was my effort- in sweat… that made me the money’ to own my possessions… Life is short, and I wish to look at fine things while sitting in my home. I enjoy a warm fire on a cold Palestinian night. It is the one comfort I have, as my foolish family and friends die--- trying to stop the progress of an entrenched nation. For our education, came from other countries of charity. Now that we are smarter, we want equal rights. Abraham Lincoln, JFK, Martin Luther, showed the world “many people can share the same land with religious differences”… You do not live in a world of hate, as I do. I see death on a daily basis, while you go to church “without fear”. I’m not given the savior here because “we are considered different” from the Christian blacks, Jews, and influential natives. Even though the Jews do not believe in Jesus as it is written in the New Testament; still, they have great relations with American Christian Churches! We have no riches, and we are at the mercy of Israel for all time to come. We do not wish to fight with Israel; we wish to share in the democracy of your two wonderful countries.
