This Little Book

0’ the words of wisdom, fill the pages that I read.  Written letters in black ink fill these pages that capture my eyes with insight to human nature and human belief.  The thoughts that are spoken of are not always happy, but they are filled with truth.  This little book has things that need to be heard.  Some pages I love more than others, but all the pages seem to draw me in.  There’s something about the writer with the way he composes and comprehends life’s immeasurable consequences.

Define such honesty, as might be written by any man.  Who does not fear revealing the most intimate and shameful things done?  Unimaginably he has the courage to reveal himself in this open book.  I know the deep dark secrets that I have done; yet I know no one willing to reveal all who they are in the written word. The value of knowing what someone else truly goes through. There can be no price put on the poet, writer, or storyteller that reveals their sole to the world.

At times I want to judge his writings, at times his writings reflect too closely to things I have thought.  How is such a man so gifted or cursed to have ever come to have enough fortitude to write them down?  He is the artist, our most prized possession in a world filled with materialism. He creates from the nonexistent and brings it into reality.  I read ever so intently savoring each word as if I had drank manna from heaven.

These words so well put together that they draw me in. I actually hunger to read them over and over soaking up their immeasurable insights into my soul.  I want my spirit to reveal to me the truths no matter how painful.  Because as I know with the yen and the yang, I get the reward of extreme pleasure when the words and writings speak of the love of God in the love another.
