BUSH, BURNING
burn'-ing.

1. Meaning and Use:

The scene at the burning bush (ceneh, "a bush," Septuagint batos,") reveals God to the world in one of theophanies with fire, of which there are four mentioned in the Bible (Ex 3:2; 13:21; 19:18; also 2Th 1:8 the King James Version, yet to be fulfilled). Many other Divine manifestations were associated with fire. The Burning Bush is mentioned elsewhere in De 33:16; Mr 12:26; Lu 20:37; Ac 7:30,31.

(My idea)

Perhaps we should form our own religion wherein the “bush” burning mentioned several times in the Bible, is in fact, the “Marijuana” bush!  Since there is no way to either prove or disprove that analogy, we could maintain that the “Sacrament” of “bush-burning” be a legal part of our religious ceremonies!  Since there are no legal restrictions on certain religious “Christian” cults such as: Southern Pentecostal Churches who even today, handle poisonous snakes and consume poisonous substances, i.e., Strychnine…

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. —Mark 16:17-18

For serpent-handling churches, these verses hold no symbolism—they are the literal words of the Lord that have inspired worshiping believers to handle poisonous snakes for a hundred years.

Why then would the religious usage of sacramental cannabis be a legal problem?

Our members could legally partake of the “Sacrament-of-the-Burning-Bush” on a regular basis!  The Constitutional right of “Freedom of Religion” supports this.  “Halleluiah…..Amen”!
