‘SPANKING-THE-MONKEY’

all time favorite…’spanking the monkey’!
These are only a few of the slang terms used to describe the act of
‘self-gratification’ or, MASTURBATION…(which is the more accepted,
‘scientific’ terminology). As a
child, I remember older folks warning us (in hushed tones), that if you did
THAT, you would suffer a long list of severe punishments, including; going
crazy, and growing hair on the palm of your hand….which if were true, would
find a lot of ‘hairy-handed’ nuts running around all over the place!
HA!
Masturbation has been
performed by both boys and girls, men and women, more often then any other
activity one could name. There is
no direct reference to it in the Bible and as far as I know, it has never been
proven to be harmful in any way. Of
course there is always the exception…the one who does it 24/7.
Anything can be detrimental if carried to the extreme.
But on the average, I would surmise that nearly everyone has engaged in
the practice at one time or another.
It is unfortunate that
this ‘healthy’ act has been condemned by the ‘pious’ prudes throughout
history. Yes, I believe masturbation is a healthy, safe way to
release pent up sexual frustrations. When
those adolescent hormones kicked in, you had to have a way to ‘get-off’ or
walk around with a perpetual hard-on! How
many of you guys have had the embarrassing experience of being in class,
daydreaming about sex and getting a ‘woody’, when the bell rang to go to
another class and you had to try to hide the ‘bulge’ in your pants?
Happened to me often.
The point of this is;
with teenage pregnancies on the rise, AIDS taking people out by the millions,
and all manner of STD’s prevalent…masturbation should be encouraged as a
sexual outlet. Besides, taking a
line from the classic gay movie, ‘The Boy’s in the Band’…”the great
thing about masturbation is, you don’t have to look good”!
Also, it’s not just a boy thing; girls do it just as often.
I am 62 years, old and still enjoy masturbating.
It is something pleasurable that I do (in private), and I hope that
desire remains with me until I croak.
So, I say to all of you out there…”take a little time out now and
then to get up close and personal with your sexy self”…
