| Sometimes Faith is better than Nothing.
It is those lucky souls who never have to question life’s meaning that sometimes have it the easiest; they are in a constant state of definition and morality. There is no other way to the next life and this makes one feel good. To know that what I think is not as important as what another thinks` is preposterous! Yes, men and women have been appointed positions of high authority, yet they have not always used it for Gods glory. It is difficult to think’ we as individuals, have no say so in our spiritual beliefs. I would love to have a rock solid foundation.
Some times the sands of time wear down ones resolve, we think we have lived life and saw the glory, and we are not happy with the prediction of our churches~ now that we are old. Where is the salvation? Where is the Rapture? Why` I am beyond 80 years old, and I have lived. Do not tell me my concepts and understanding are not valued. My life studies have seen powerful people fall from on high. I have seen nations destroyed, and nations rebuilt. At one time my life was a series of dictations. Do not question, Do! It is the Muslim way.
My family is held captive by the terrorist, I would cry and beg for peace so my child did not have to die, but if I revolt, if I speak up, I will realize how many men still want the old way of life!! It is not the women of Iraq begging to torture and die; it is young and old men holding onto perverse sexual intimate control of women. This is what we as a society must battle. All great countries have men and women treated as equal and respected as sexual. Our society grows from the children we produce. We can educate our children to think less stubbornly…
As it is within the state` people pray and attend sacred buildings. Yet, are not people more important than buildings? We have the opportunity to fight back at the war machine and start making peace with eachother. I stand by any one who wishes to be free, and I embrace this ideology. However, in this part of the world you are not allowed to be a moderate and cooperative Muslim, you must approve of murder. It seems that the highest law that both “peoples” say to follow.., does not stop them from the inbred hatred of cultural life. Life is painful, life is unjust, and God will one day send his prophet to guide the people to a new reality.
This is what we fight.
