Realization
of Confinement When
the body does not function proper, the soul is trapped inside a vehicle that no
longer listens to commands. It is
much harder for those who have been healthy to bear the burden of bodily
ailments. For a person feels
cheated when at middle age, he can no longer do the simplest actions.
If such audacity can cripple the body, at what point does a person’s
mind cave in as well? Surely the
soul with its infinite resources of faith and direction can overcome such an
obstacle. And only when a
person’s mind trust the soul in the belief the soul lives for, can a person
learn to determine how to make their life as valuable as possible. It
is becoming honest with myself that I can decide to live with my limitations.
I no longer have to fear what I cannot do; my body will remind me with
the lightest infractions. It is possible to find humor in all this.
For the mind that realizes the soul is internal and eternal, then that
person determines his destiny. For
throughout life, there is many chess games depended upon everything~ that
happens to us. Our actions and our
memories’ will influence the future. At
what point do we lose courage in the infinite possibilities for the sum of God
flows eternally through us. And
to find this man’s personality in accordance with a solid foundation, he
decides to join in the spiritual battles of politics, of religion, and
sexuality. There is a misconception
about what people want and what religion, society, and tyranny will allow.
We all seek for freedoms that are defined in good conscience.
It is not amazing to us to believe that there’s a world where people
can live in harmony and caring with truth about what love is that makes life
glorious. Never have I had such a
humbling experience as “realizing” someone’s affections for me.
It is within my ravaged mind and torn soul that my hand reaches out to
find the hand of my friend. It
is with his hand of courage and grace and kindness that I see my full potential.
As I share my smile, my insight, and my faith, I embrace the greatness of
humankind and its most pivotal point. An
alliance has been made that we shall stand beside each other through the darkest
night, under the most severe persecutions.
For the world cannot stand to find hope in the eyes of a child or a man.
Therefore, my limitations are only false ideals that society says I must
follow. I will allow my heart to
decide my true potential as a person and as a friend.
Never hiding my true character behind self-pity because of what life I
have been given. Thomas A. SUTOR P.O. Box 2343 Lompoc CA 93438 Rockhawk.com
