One little thing In this place I thought I knew` I found my heart laid to rest… I did not seek, I did not hunger, and I did not miss you. You sought to refresh my memory as I held another day in contemplation. Thinking of the many ways one finds trust in this difficult reality. Where nuclear threats soar high, as terrorist are inspired by greedy corporations. Learning to destroy ones life has happened at all levels in our society.
We are not people without means to face troubles and hard times. Our fortitude is not in question. We do not use Jesus to justify our actions. Our actions justify the Christ! Send me a sermon from the mouth of God, and I will understand why man thinks. He searches throughout each decade. Before the Christ, there was the beginning of the universe. This concept is lost on the religionist; they focus too much on controlling the congregation through promises of prosperity!
I do not need any more million dollar churches; I need the money to be spent on the poor. I see the wealth in all these religious institutions. People pay on average, ten percent of their income per week. Now if they make $20,000.00 to $100,000.00 a year, that church takes in an amount of untaxed revenue by the state and federal population equal to a stadium amount of persons. This money is supposedly held to no accounting practices with any legal remuneration to the parishioner.
Therefore, it means that if you are a person who has believed with all your heart and you die before the second coming, you will never know if your money was worth it. Now, most people will get upset by one writing something such as this, and that is their right. I myself do not worry about what people give their money to; as long as, they do not use it to teach hate. God is not without his questions and his scriptures…
