Is freedom in our tears?

What would it take for every person on this planet to shed tears at the same time? In that one moment of solitude, would we finally understand each other?  Who has ever lost love, freedoms, and dignity; they have shed tears often.  If everyone cries, then we all know suffering.  We all know what it’s like to feel defeated, we all understand when our personal rights have been violated, and we will defend our right to exist.  These are the things that define our humanity.  So often, we let our tears lead to rage.  This state of mind turns man to revenge and cruelty.  This state of mind demands the harshest subjugation.  These tears burn like acid rain in our souls.  Retaliation at some point destroys our ability to ever shed tears again.

More importantly, tears that are shed because of sorrow and loss, these tears can heal.  Tears are the only known cure for hatred when they’re embraced within forgiveness. For all other tears lead to bitterness.  And bitterness demands no crying.  Its harshness and realistic approach to life demands that we must be strong and that we never show the weaker emotions.  I didn’t find happiness because I could not cry, I found happiness because I could.  As tears flow freely from my eyes, I realize the pain and sorrow that I have caused others.  By my selfish refusal to be obstinate, I have damned my world to only half living.  When one does not cry, he or she learns to desensitize life.

Why should one care' becomes a prevailing question.  What’s in it for me?  Why should I help them, they are all the same?  The lack of emotions to use because we do not feel kind.  The select self-righteousness concerning oneself as better than another.  The ideology that tears do not have the same rights as the rest of our emotions.  Where does one get such beliefs?  And what school is it taught that tears are evil?  Tears are the childlike way that our soul reveals its true nature.  For the soul cannot be happy until it is reunited with its maker.  While it spends its life in our body, we are responsible for the development that the soul will enjoy.

It is for this reason that I cry when I hurt, it is for this reason that I cry when I realize my sins; it is for this reason that love will never die.  Love cannot fully control the person until the person embraces tears as a way to reunite the human heart with dignity.  It is the spirit within our heart and mind that realizes the soul must be protected from hateful rhetoric.  Souls must be salvaged from the cruelty of the world.  It is when one soul trusts another soul that tears flow like a child who has found his or her way home.  It is within this revelation that a person understands life is given for the enjoyment of soul.
