"Involving Flowers"

To describe the flower, a most beautiful petal.  A plant that grows from the ground; its roots deep in the earth.  The soil rich and smells with the essence of dirt and fortitude.  I watch the flower as it grows and begins to bud. Starting with a light green as it edges its way out of the ground.  Then it pulls itself up higher revealing leaves and the stem.  The magic of the bud, a bud that can become any flower.

The flower that is most joyous to me is the flower that I see.  It has petals, and texture, and color.  Furthermore, it is the scent that fills my soul as I breathe it in.  I take it in deeply through the nostrils of my nose, savoring every item of pollen and fragrance that flows freely from this wondrous plant.  My favorite flower has colors of the rainbow.  I have seen them orange and green, blue and yellow, purple, white, red, and lavender.  The flower is such a powerful and wonderful source of love.  It expresses my thoughts for the person I love.   It shows me life and joy in this world when it seems so cruel and unkind.

The aroma brings into my mind the memories of love and lost childhood.  Those things that a flower does for me that are most important, is to remind me that I am human.  Reminds me, that my creator made such a wondrous plant.  With petals, and design, and clothing far finer than any royal figure on this planet has ever imagined.  The flower is alive, it breathes, and it gives me oxygen so that I might breathe. Without this wonderful little plant, I cannot appreciate the sites and wonders of God’s growing garden.  How much I do appreciate that many flowers become fruits and vegetables to sustain me and nourish me.  I find the flower is a most beautiful creation, from it comes life to feed the human race.
