How
often I focus on my history wondering from whence I come?
Is that really what’s important today?
I think not. I think the most important thing we can do today is be good
people, and enjoy the laughter’ in our friendships. For the mind that focuses
on doing good will never be disappointed. Of
course I’m often disappointed with the place other peoples have put their
minds. Their focus is not on
cooperation, their focus is not on honorable motives, and their focus is a
perverse pleasure in evil. These
are people who I do not wish to be associative with, and yet’ how many times
do these people walk past me… as strangers?
That’ can be a very scary thought.
If I focus only on my fear, I
become a paranoid and disturbed person. I
lose the freedom to walk out- even my own front door. That’ shall never
happened to me. I was a witness at
a very young age to terrorism. At
the age of 11, I had witnessed the atrocity that man can do to man.
I decided then that the most important part of my life’ is here and
now. Sometimes living without
thinking about the future has caused me to lose money.
However, I have become older and understand that money needs to be saved.
It’s amazing, as I become more mature spiritually; my life seems to
balance out materially. I’m not
craving things I do not need; and yet, I am not without.
These are things I remind myself of whenever I’m feeling a little
unhappy about my day.
I often wander how long it will
take for some people- to get some true maturity? If someone thinks about life
with a mind that is logical, they realize that happiness does not come from
being rich and powerful and causing people to fear you.
Happiness comes when we give our best! Too stay honest and true.
Happiness is in the heart of those who can think about life and realize
they’ve not done anything’ too bad. Happiness
is rarely enjoyed by rich and powerful people if~ they’ve been Evil. I realize
that evil is not only connected to religion. Evil consist in doing things which
“we know” will intentionally harm another.
I have no such conscience with Guilt, concerning that area of my life.
As a matter of fact, I have found guilt and shame have little power in
preventing people from doing evil…
It does not take a child, too learn
quickly the difference between good behavior and bad behavior.
We can all think of children who were mean to us.
It is those children who grow up and continue to be mean that cause the
world so much sadness. Those of you who know what you’ve done to harm another~
(must) live with that memory. Ungrateful and rebellious, you have declared your
defiance regardless of safety to the community. I shutter at everyone who takes
pleasure in harming another. They shall be haunted by nightmares and have no
happy thoughts when they get old. For
those of us who choose to help society and to stand up against injustice; may we
find sleep- even when our stomachs are empty. Grateful that our hearts will
never hunger.
