I will never put you down.
This life is not a place to be thought of as wonderful all the time, yet do not discount the kindness it doeth possess! There are people who love with simple thoughts of care and concern for the other and this feeling is stronger toward them then it is toward others. I can see the man hitting his wife, I can see the girlfriend staying in an abusive of sometime perverted fantasy as she thinks this is the norm in life… But you, you know I am no such man as that. My heart may wonder and often dream, yet it will return~ for as long as you will have me.
I can not think that we would ever do anything beyond talking --- no matter how betrayed we felt by a bad choice or a bad action. I know in my heart, you would never intentionally hurt my soul. Moreover, when I can actualize my soul, I can free myself from the "limited objective of a short life" a life that I will live but once, and you will be in it. It is you. I know you do the best you can and there may come times when I know something is not right. So far, we have been able to forgive the other for doing something not right, but not intentional either…
When I commune with your spirit, I find the shortness of this world mysterious. In times like these, a man and a woman are happy in the company of eachother. If I did not have you in my life now that I know you, life would surely be bleaker. It is knowing you will be there that` I find peace of mind. Not the kind of “being there” that is eternal, but the knowing you will be there for as long as we both live. I would hate to leave you alone when death came to take me, but I think not of death. Today, you and I find ourselves in the 21st century making marriage a realty.
It is not known how we will change, or learn as we grow in ways of thought incomprehensible by the teachings of our past. We do not linger on the abuses of history; we focus on making peace everyday. You are my soul and my hope; you open my eyes to how the world is, and you love me in spite of all the challenges ahead of us. If this is not trust, then I have never held your hand. You bring tears that say I am free. In this sharing of two hearts as one, we will in some small way participate in the magic of childbirth though it be denied us physically. I will do my best to always call and talk and check in. It is not a rule, it is just our understanding.
