Hold me down Jesus.

With fear we have built our days, we live in a most paranoid universe.  We isolate, we live alone, and we refused to go to social functions.  Indifference to love, this world and the people in it, we have condemned our lives to eternal sadness.  Without the light of this revelation, we continue to be loners.  Everyone should take a look at their lives.  I think I will look at my life, and my thoughts.  As surely as the religious establishments have a structure, my soul has a structure that can be well founded and filled with nice things, or it will be without music.  It is interesting that there are many positions to be filled in the church.  However, I like the last quote 31 “set your heart’s, then, on the more important gifts.  Best of all, however, is the following way.”

Now, I can already here the alarmist beating! I don’t follow anybody!!!  I am an individual, I am self-supporting, and I don’t need your help.  All very good “unrealistic” ideals, but people do believe this way.  I believe at one time, we were all that way.  Especially the: Teenage to 24 years.  These years of a young person’s life are appropriate for one to learn their limitations.  The years after 25 should be spent defining what you are, and what you believe.  As Christians, we try to hold back rebellion for the sanctity of the community.  People don’t realize they are free to leave the Christian community, and find their own destiny with God. That is the following way.  When we walk away from our childhood church, we wish to experience life on our own.  Many of us never take this first vital step in trying to disapprove the Bible and our beliefs of the interpretations.

Notice, I never said we tried to disapprove what Jesus did.  We put to test our teachings of good behavior, honest opinions, and trustworthiness.  Much to our dismay, we discovered that people on this planet have their own agendas.  We discovered people would intentionally lie to us.  We understood how hateful some people really are.  We even discovered these things in our own church.  It is at this point: We had to question the integrity of everything.  We can no longer just follow blindly~ church, country, and acquaintances.  Whenever we found someone who is willing to be honest with us, we never let them go.  When we found someone who would read with us, we took the time to study.  When we found someone willing to pray with us, we took turns phrasing God.

Following in the footsteps of love, we recommitted ourselves to be good people... Practice that behavior in our church of choice.  I’m quite sure there are many covert Christians proclaiming another religion yet living the behavior of Christ.  There are many Christians who must maintain the secrecy of their belief for the greater good of the masses.  It’s possible there are even Christians in positions of power- doing the will of God.  I believe it’s my duty to pray for leaders, all religious figures, and for those I love.  I pray you will become a follower of the way. I pray your good acts will help many people.  I pray your power never causes you to become jaded, insensitive, or insecure.
