When
Hair Was Controversial There was a time in
this country when men with hair that was long were considered disgraceful in
society. Even though the Christian
religionists followed a young long-haired hippie themselves! They didn’t
understand the word hippie meant “One Committed to Love and Humanity”.
Religionists considered long-haired young people dangerous! Can’t
long-haired men’; get any decent treatment?
I mean if you take that man Jesus Christ, he had very long hair.
In every painting and picture from ancient times, it has always been
shown that he had long glorious hair. A
beautiful waterfall surrounding the presence of the Lord.
So why should not men today who wish to imitate the Christ, not grow
their hair? Is it because the world
says society now demands a certain hair style?
Has hair anything to do with a man’s ability? We have police officers with long hair who
infiltrate the drug world. They not
only infiltrate, they participate in every activity they are going to criminally
charge another with. I wonder to
what extremes one must imitate evil? We
do not wish to imitate actions that are disgraceful, troubling, or dangerous!
I wish for my thoughts to focus on my ability to think.
For it is today’ I think for myself.
No one tells me how to live my life.
I choose the direction in the destination that I shall go.
Of course, there will be many trials along the way. Yet, living is not stationary. It is an internal process that
we experience, as time ages our soul remains; those who do not realize what is
happening’ cause the soul to fear getting old.
The soul is who I am. I am your inner essence.
I am your will… continuing… living...
And I need much enlightenment daily.
I am ethereal, and I seek for the most, usually’ by ways of kindness. I
do my part to be fair. I do not
lie, I do not steal, and I respect myself.
I do not need you to validate me. Even
if you committed suicide, I would go on. The
soul is not connected to the spirit nor is it attached to the physical.
It is that one fine thread which creates something out of nothing.
If we can all realize the perfect balance of the universe, we cannot fear
-- for fear will have no
meaning to those of us who understand how limited life is, and we hope for an
unlimited afterlife with many possibilities’ of many trains’ to
destinations, in our deepest secrets. An
afterlife not based on misconceptions, but on the reality that’ if we just do
good and be good people, we have our reward. This is the God that I believe in. He offers unlimited possibilities of goodness and
righteousness to come to “anyone” whether they go to a religious
institution, or choose to do it on their own.
For he is our father, and she is our mother, and we must always think of
these two people in both: reality and with a tendency to remembrances… For
memory is made from time, and time is made from people, and people are made from
God. My dad has long hair, and he
can be all things to all people. He
is not limited by any religion. His
commandments are integrity, mercifulness, firmness, and evangelist. He expects us to spread the good news about living in loving
people. For love has always been
our destination and no one can stop the true lover. Thomas
