God Is with Me

He is the freshness to my soul when bones are weak and weary.  When nobody seems to understand, he does.  However rich I might have wished to be, I have more wealth through the spirit that God invests in me.  I believe he puts me above the NASDAQ.  Furthermore, my Dow Jones will never go down.  If you look at my neighborhood, you would say I live in the bad section.  I have often wondered who makes the determination about what neighborhoods are good or bad?  Is it the people who live in them?  Or God- who watches over them?

I have found that even poor people can have nice neighborhoods, clean homes, and a well-furnished house.  Even their clothing’s are crisp and new, though they’re not Gucci.  I don’t think Jesus Christ has a dress code.  At least, the only mentions of dressing up in the Bible were not to make your self stand out as to be “pretending” to be better than others. So many people mock the church, its values, morals, and questioning what is right and wrong.  Yet, will they have an answer the day they die?

I would rather question what my purpose is to be? While, I am alive.  If I must suffer, let me suffer for God.  If I must be rich, let me use my wealth for God’s charity.  If I must be poor, let me use my kindness to make someone happy.  If I refuse to go to church, let me not discourage those who do.  If I am a religious person, let me live an example that God would find kindly and lovingly.  No matter where God puts me in life, I hope I choose to submit with a helpful attitude.

I pray God will always fill me with a spirit of playfulness, joy, and assuredness that my faith in him is connected with kindness, goodness, firmness, gentleness, and all things that seek to reveal the truth.  To my own self, may I submit to God and trust Jesus Christ “knowing that he died” not that I might be lonely, but have the most wonderful friends in this world.  My brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, and children, we all belong to the Christian family and are all saved by the belief that Christ will come back for us and protect us until the harvest is ready.
