Forget Not to Smile
In the dismal days we live, we sometimes forget to be grateful… We think our existence has become a tragedy of unrepentant evil. Our soul is tormented by the murder, Our soul is torn by the injustices, Our souls real from the thoughts` and unanswered truths of our life, yet our mind reminds us how very short life is. Being that the mind does not embrace the eternal, it gets tired of a Soul always searching on better ways to serve God. Seeking… Yearning… Always unfilled… This is just too much! I can not handle living in this universe anymore! Therefore, once again` a mind overloads because of unrealistic thought. The mind does not care about the spirit world. It has only one concern. How to enjoy the short life given to its human body. Whether or not the spirit world is a reality has no impact on the human minds life, it is happy with taste, and sound, and smell. However, the minds most enjoyable process is sensation! What Religions call sin, we call freewill. Furthermore, there is no freewill when you have no choice but heaven or hell. You are told to choose heaven or hell, yet no one has been to heaven, and no one has been to hell. Unresolved, We are expected to make a sound spiritual choice on mysterious information? Not me, nor my mind. I know how to live to be happy, and I have honest friends to prove it. It seems that regulations and laws prevent most of the pleasures I could partake of. Why do religionists think they are the only ones to write morality? They try to make us conform to “their” one book opinion. All religions have a book! It is always the most important thing that these people follow… I do not limit my faith to “one book” As I do not limit my experience to one event. Life is fluid, life is grand, and I live life without sin, and I am not a Christian. Now that is freedom! I choose to do good not out of fear of going to hell or reward to get into heaven. Only because: It is honest to do good. Evil is wrong thinking and living a lie. I do not live a lie, I live to understand~ no matter how much sadness` that involves… Therefore, even though I am at the mercy of a government controlled by religious zealots, I can protest war! Even though I am forbidden by Law to treat my illness, I find connections. And even though I feel I am losing freedoms for the privilege of living in my country, I am free to leave this country’ and give up other freedoms- to live in another. So, I sit back and think about all I have said. There seems to be much fear and end of the world talk, yet that talk will always be. Sadly, even if we do destroy this current life system, another will begin. Who am I to question all these things? To that reply I can only laugh. And laugh I do with a smile built on gentle persistence…
