Do I Have To Go to Church?

It is a parable.  Speaking of 10 coins probably pertaining to the Ten Commandments.  I like how he mentions to the last person who only kept the coin.  He reprimands him with a very wise correction.  “Well then, why didn’t you put my money in the bank?  Then I would have received it back with interest when I returned.” The gold coin is your soul if you have not figured this parable out in the past 2000 years.  The Bank is the church, or you could at least gather with people and practiced decency, community, and fellowship.  Is it such a big request that our creator asked us to attend a place to honor him once a week?

This scripture taken literally when you read it all the way to verse No. 27 This means Jesus is talking about his own countrymen.  Think about who Jesus Christ is, think about verse No. 14, think about verse No. 27 and think about “does Jesus mean what He says?”  Of course He does, He is the Son of God, He is the King of the Jews, He is not the king they wanted. Apparently at that time, and sometimes looking at present day you’d think that the Israelites still believe that the Promised Land is only theirs. By acknowledging the Son of God, Jews have to give up their rightful place as God’s “only” chosen people.

I’m just interpreting the Scripture as I see it.  Read the entire chapter!!! It is about the parable of the gold coins.  He meant it to be a witness to the people who cherish greed and gold.  His powers of observation about his own people are true to this day.  As long as they do not admit that Jesus Christ is truly the Son of God, the Jews believe they will not come under His judgment.  I’m not going to be worrying about offending people, “I” did not write the Bible.  I have studied its content.  I have comprehended its meaning.  I believe the Jews are responsible for their actions towards Jesus Christ.  And God will judge them- “not us”.

So here we are, do we have to go to church?  I think it’s the least you can do.  There is a group called Jews for Jesus, and I do hope they are sincere, because us Gentile Christians depend on the Jewish Christians to interpret the Bible fully.  Surely by reading the Old Testament, we realize the Israelites are a rebellious, repetitive, disobedient people.  If they could not get their humility to serve God back then, by what manner do we believe they are practicing what “Gods wants” when they refuse to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Son of God?  Anybody can read the New Testament and know that Paul, The Apostles, and the majority of people that Jesus spoke to back then were his own people.
