Choosing your color.
It is not always easy or appropriate to speak of color, but we do. We as people generalize groups into categories. We have good Blacks, We have good Mexicans, and we have good Asian, and we have good whites in America. Yes, there are many other races in this land’ yet we focus on the color of skin. To say this is a development of governmental work applications’ has some merit. For we always reveal our color when applying for these jobs. Some people think describing people using these terms is “un-moral” However, it really is not.
We all have times alone with our race, and we do not talk about the other races, we talk about our job. We inform relatives what we have been doing; we seek a partner to be compatible. It is true that many races mix blood, and it has not destroyed the human condition. We were made far more caring than the media gives us credit. How else can blacks and whites live and eat together unless we have resolved our racist attitudes? What we see in Israel is not limited to the war on terror, we understand the threat of the KKK and allowing what is obviously hatred of another.
In my race, I feel safe as you do. It is nice to have people of the same clan come together. Tribes and generations later, we are no longer living with our people only. People change, and we change with them. Today our tribes and clans have come together to form society! No longer do we live in fellowships of 100 people only, our population has breached the 8 billion utopia! We are interbred and find ourselves still asking what is God? IN this life we live, we do not judge eachother according to the Bible and the many~ misinterpretations by various groups. When we say I love you, it is not out of motives to win you to my faith; I say I love you because I mean it.
So, we can not choose what ghetto or high falutin life we will be born into. Therefore, as Americans we can get an education and show others that we are all created in the image of God, or divine providence if you like. Consequently, my color does not hold me back in the USA. It is not ever an issue because we have laws to protect the innocent. On 9/11 innocent people died, and we know a part of the motive was color. Sadly, many people in the world still look at skin’ and do not see the person. It is for this reason the Terrorist kills- fulfilling his hatred of what God has created…
